Veterans’ Foundation has awarded Combat Stress a grant of £3,000 towards occupational therapy in its treatment centres

Combat Stress offers occupational therapy to all veterans undertaking a residential programme at one of its three treatment centres and over the past year has introduced occupational therapists to its community teams.

Robert Marsh, Director Income Generation at Combat Stress said: “We’re so grateful to the Veterans' Foundation for their grant towards occupational therapy in our treatment centres. Occupational therapy is a key part of the treatment we offer here at Combat Stress and can help veterans rebuild their lives.

“It’s vital that we raise awareness and funds for the charity to ensure we are able to support every veteran that comes to us for help.”

The grant to Combat Stress was made possible by players of the Veterans’ Foundation national Veterans’ Lottery. To find out more about Veterans’ Foundation and The national Veterans' Lottery please visit veteransfoundation.org.uk
