Office for Veterans’ Affairs launches new veteran support directory

The Office for Veterans’ Affairs (OVA) has launched a new directory to improve and streamline veterans’ access to welfare services and enable more efficient referrals.

With the original Veterans’ Gateway ceasing on 30 September 2024, the new directory can be accessed at https://www.gov.uk/support-for-veterans, with further support available via the directory helpline (0808 802 1212). 

The new service will enable veterans and their loved ones to more easily find and access state and charity support services. The listed organisations can be filtered by location and area of support needed, including physical and mental health, financial support, assistance with independent living, housing, and employment.
