The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary

On 29 April 2021, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.

Jeff Harrison, Interim Chief Executive at Combat Stress, said:

“On behalf of Combat Stress, I would like to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their 10th wedding anniversary.

“We were very grateful to Their Royal Highnesses for choosing to support us through donations made in lieu of gifts at their wedding. Their support, and that of our patron His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, has been invaluable. The money raised from the wedding helped us to deliver our specialist mental health services to thousands of veterans across the UK so they could tackle the past and take on the future.

“With demand for our life-changing services remaining high, it’s vital that we continue to receive donations to ensure we can be there for every veteran who needs us.

“Couples asking for charity donations instead of wedding gifts is a wonderful way for them to support causes close to their heart and, like The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, over the years many couples have generously chosen to fundraise for Combat Stress in this way.”
