MCKS Charitable Foundation UK awards Combat Stress a grant of £25,000

Grant-giving charity MCKS Charitable Foundation UK has awarded Combat Stress a grant of £25,000 towards clinical treatment at Tyrwhitt House, their Surrey based treatment centre.

Combat Stress offers residential, evidence-based treatment programmes at all three of their treatment centres. The programmes are designed to address mental health problems through a combination of group psycho-education, psychotherapy and individual trauma based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

“We are extremely grateful to MCKS Charitable Foundation UK for their grant towards the clinical treatment for veterans’ at Tyrwhitt House.

“We continue to see an increase in demand for our services, in the last five years we have seen a 71% increase in referrals. It’s vital that we raise awareness and support for the charity. Grants, like this one from MCKS Charitable Foundation UK are important in ensuring we can continue to support every veteran that needs our help”
