With many Remembrance Day events and Armistice services closed to the public this year due to COVID-19, we're supporting The Remembrance Penny's #DoorStepSalute to ensure we continue to commemorate these important days of remembrance and honour our Forces, who give so much to protect this nation.

The Remembrance Penny have engaged with schools all over the country and the D-Day Juniors along with Army Cadets UK are encouraging pupils to find the heroes in their family and asking the public to join the #Doorstepsalute.

Getting involved is simple, stand on your doorstep after the silence at 11am on Remembrance Sunday and salute for the Forces – past and present. Then take a photo of your salute and post it on social media using #Doorstepsalute.
