VE Day - Pack Download
Thank you for registering for our VE Day 75 ‘Celebrate at home’ party pack. Your free pack is crammed full of ideas for wartime rationing party food, 1940’s decorations, songs, dances, and hair and fashion of the era to help you have a brilliant 1940’s inspired day (and night)!
Please note this Party Pack is only available to Download. For cost, postal delays, and health and safety reasons these packs will not be sent by post.
DON’T FORGET - you can also enter your VE Day party photo(s) into our VE Day 75 Competition to be in with the chance to win prizes including a Signed Red Arrows print or a Luxury Hamper. More details on how you can do this is provided in your party pack, which will be sent to you via email ahead of the day, so do keep an eye on your inbox!
The money raised through all your VE Day celebrations will help us support former servicemen and women affected by mental health conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Now more than ever veterans need us and we need you – thank you.

3rd Prize - Bronze Poppy - From 'The Remembrance Collection', which is due to officially launch on Friday 8 May 2020 to coincide with the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

Entry requirements
- The competition is open to the general public but excludes anyone employed by Combat Stress.
- Anyone can enter a photograph into the competition, there is no age limit.
- You can enter as many photographs as you like, you will need to make a donation for each entry.
- All entries need to arrive with us by midnight on Monday 11 May 2020. Entries can only be submitted via the GivePenny fundraising platform.
- The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of the below terms and conditions.
Terms & Conditions
- Winners will be selected by a panel of Combat Stress staff.
- Your VE Day party should only be held with members of the same family/household that you are isolating with, please do not invite people over and break any social distancing government regulations. Any submissions breaking government social distance guidelines will not be eligible.
- The winners will receive the stated prizes no cash alternatives are available
- The winner may be asked to appear in Combat Stress marketing materials.
- Parental consent is required for anyone under 18 years of age.
- Entrants agree that Combat Stress may publish their photo(s) and name(s) and may use both for advertising campaigns and/or marketing materials in the future.
- Combat Stress will acquire full ownership of the winning photo by assignment of copyright and may alter, modify or revise the design as necessary.
- All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
- By submitting a photo, the entrant authorises Combat Stress to display my photo on it’s website, social media or other marketing materials.
- Personal details will not be shared or released to any third party. Combat Stress’ privacy policy can be found at combatstress.org.uk/privacy
- Combat Stress’ decision is final and they reserve the right to not select a winner.
- Combat Stress is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or unusable entries.
- Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
- All donations received will go towards helping Combat Stress treat former service men and women.
