Northrop Grumman, a global aerospace and defence technology company, has donated $44,000 to Combat Stress to support military veterans.

The donation will be used by us to continue providing vital specialist treatment and support online to veterans with complex mental health issues. It comes at a time when many of those being treated by us are experiencing increasing anxiety and isolation brought on by the restrictions around the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nick Chaffey, Chief Executive of Northrop Grumman UK and Europe, said: “We are proud to donate to Combat Stress as they adapt and find ways to deliver their services for veterans online or by telephone during these difficult times.”

Robert Marsh, Director of Fundraising at Combat Stress, said: “We are extremely grateful that Northrop Grumman has chosen to support Combat Stress and the veterans we treat for complex mental health problems.

“These are challenging times, but this generous donation will help us to continue delivering our life-changing specialist services to veterans across the UK so they can tackle the past and take on the future.”
