L3Harris donates £20,000
Aerospace and defense company L3Harris Technologies has donated £20,000 to Combat Stress to help fund our treatment programmes.
Yesterday (16 September), L3Harris presented a cheque for £20,000 at DSEI 2021, the Defence and Security Equipment International exhibition at ExCel London. Garry Burns, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Combat Stress, was there to receive the cheque. He said: “On behalf of Combat Stress and the veterans we treat, I would like to thank L3Harris for their incredibly generous support. As the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health, we provide specialist treatment and support to former servicemen and women with complex mental health issues arising from military service. This donation will ensure veterans can receive the help they need from us to rebuild their lives.”
Graeme Mackay, L3Harris Corporate Vice President and Country Executive – United Kingdom, said:
“At L3Harris, we believe in supporting our servicemen and women both during and after their time in the armed forces. Veteran mental health services are an essential resource to ensure that those who gave receive the care they deserve. We are proud to make this donation to Combat Stress and look forward to our continued partnership.”
