Join our first-ever Veterans' Forum

Wednesday 6 April, 5.30pm

On Wednesday 6 April 2022 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, we’re holding our first-ever Veterans’ Forum as part of our co-production with the veteran community.

Veterans are at the heart of everything we do, so this event aims to harness insights and opinions from veterans on a number of initiatives being considered at Combat Stress.

This forum is an evolution of the National Veterans’ Voice (the NVV), a group of volunteers who, for the last 15 months, have been providing Combat Stress with an invaluable veteran perspective on a range of topics.

Who can join the Forum?

While future events hope to involve a wide audience, including family members and those no longer accessing our services, this inaugural forum is open only to veterans currently undergoing treatment with Combat Stress.

So, if you’re a veteran, and are currently accessing treatment at Combat Stress, and you’d like to help shape the activities and direction of the charity, please fill out the form below (or contact us at VeteransVoice@combatstress.org.uk) and we’ll be in touch to provide you with more information and answer any questions you might have.

The event is aimed to be constructive and to make Combat Stress as veteran-centric as possible. We’ll be asking for veteran feedback on a range of topics, some of which you’ll be able to have ongoing involvement in, should you wish to.

There will also be an opportunity to raise any issues that the veteran community believe Combat Stress should be aware of. If you would like to submit a topic, please email VeteransVoice@combatstress.org.uk by Friday 1 April 2022.

We hope to see you there.

About the NVV

Every member is a veteran who has used/is using our services. It allows veterans to provide an informed yet impartial perspective on the direction of the charity.
