Combat Stress once again has charity places available in the Great North Run, the UK's biggest and most popular Half Marathon, which will be held on Sunday 10th September 2017.
Starting in Newcastle, the 13.1 mile course takes in the iconic Tyne Bridge, goes through Gateshead passing the famous international athletics stadium and finishes in the coastal town of South Shields. Live music, on-course refreshments and thousands of cheering supporters will keep you motivated every step of the way.

Apply for a charity place
Registration is now open to apply for a Combat Stress charity place in the Great North Run. We ask for a registration fee of £30 and then a minimum sponsorship of £350 to cover the cost of the place and to raise some funds for the charity. We will provide you with a training t-shirt, a Fundraising Pack and a personalised running vest for the big day itself.
To enter the Great North Run 2017 for Combat Stress or to find out more information, please email email@example.com or call 01372 587149.
Run for us with your own ballot place
If you are lucky enough to have secured your own ballot place in the Great North Run 2017, we would love to welcome you on board the Combat Stress team!
There is no minimum fundraising target for own-place runners – we just ask that you raise as much as you can - but you will still get all the same benefits as our charity place runners. So, to register as an own-place runner, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01372 587149.
