Through the charity arm Challenge SGM, Sleeping Giant Media have pledged to raise a significant fundraising target by the end of 2014. With employee-led fundraising events including a team kayaking 150 miles across the Kent coast in August 2014, you can track the teams progress here.

Employees have participated in social and challenge fundraisers such as an intra office quiz and extreme challenges greatly impacting the lives of Veterans in the UK.

Surrey-based, entrepreneurial law firm, Downs Solicitors LLP, have supported our Veterans since January 2012. This Centenary, the enthusiastic and committed Partners and staff from Downs have adopted Combat Stress as its first Charity of the Year partner in 2014/15. Support will include; invitations to help raise awareness in the local community, a variety of fundraising events, including tackling a military assault course and valuable legal advice.
Thales, the leading partner to the Ministry of Defence delivering high-quality urgent operational requirements to protect the British Armed Forces on deployment is also a dedicated partner of Combat Stress. The natural partnership focuses on awareness-raising initiatives to bring plight to Veterans suffering from debilitating mental-ill health. Thales has also sponsored the Combat Stress Annual Armistice Lecture this year.

Rewards for Forces is so proud to be supporting Combat Stress as its Charity of the Year 2014/2015. The UK’s largest Forces discount and benefit’s website asked its members to vote for a charity they wished to be Charity of the Year and the websites 229,000 voted for Combat Stress as they felt it was the charity that had helped them most. Each time a Rewards for Forces Member Card is purchased £5.00 is donated straight to Combat Stress.
Clothes for Charity
Clothes for Charity a secure and simple way to donate your clothes has teamed up with Combat Stress. Simply nominate Combat Stress, request a trackable donation bag and Clothes for charity will pick it up from where’s convenient for you, sending you an email telling you it got their safely. In return Clothes for Charity will give £200 per tonne to the Veterans at Combat Stress.
Professional Facilities Services, Lakethorne Group have adopted Combat Stress as its charity partner. By helping to raise awareness of our services and arranging employee led fundraising events, including a 'back to the floor' cleaning competition and an international bake off, this partnership will raise vital support to our UK Veterans.
Network Rail has supported the Community Outreach South East Programme which helps Veterans and their families in the Community. The Staff at Network Rail have dedicated hours of volunteering support and fundraising challenge events in support of Combat Stress.
